About Me

I lost my leg due to a infection, they took it off Sep.3rd. 2010. I went through two years of a lot of pain, IV antibiotics, eight different surgery and became very sick but as soon as it came off I got better. Six mo., later I was fitted with an above knee prosthetic. The last six mo. I've been in therapy learning to walk again. 

I'm 62yrs. old.......

    Hi there , you have done amazingly well.. having an ak make walking notoriously hard, you shud be proud of yourself... as an ex prosthetic limb fitter it was always ak that found balance, gait etc difficult...very well done and have a great christmas, kindest regards from James in the UK
